Job summary

SDG Group Italy is seeking AI Engineers with 1–3 years of AI/ML experience to join its international AI & ML Engineering team. You will work on high-impact projects across Fashion & Luxury, Utilities, Banking, Insurance and Healthcare, with exposure to Generative AI and production-grade ML systems.

You will collaborate with data engineers and deliver scalable, cloud-enabled AI solutions using AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, SageMaker and Vertex AI, driving strategic insights for global clients in a

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a STEM field (CS, Engineering, Math, Data Science or related).
• 1–3 years of AI/ML/Data Science experience with Python and ML tools.
• Proficiency in Python ecosystems (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with Git, virtual environments, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of ML concepts and Generative AI (LLMs, tuning, prompts).
• Italian language at C1 level and English proficiency (testing during interview).

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle AI development from problem framing to production-ready systems.
• Implement a range of models from traditional to Generative AI using LLMs.
• Industrialization and AIOps to cloud-ready, scalable deployments.
• Cloud mastery across AWS, GCP, and Azure with Databricks/SageMaker/Vertex AI.
• Translate data into actionable insights and communicate findings to clients.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to deploy models into live environments.
