Job summary

Leonardo in Italy is seeking a Junior Methodologist at the Frosinone site to develop new manufacturing methods and ensure aerospace quality standards. You will work on machine tools and complex assemblies from technical drawings.

Ideal candidates hold a technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Automation Engineering, 1–3 years of experience, CATIA VS proficiency, and English at B2. The role is hybrid, permanent, with competitive benefits. Travel availability is required.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Automation/Industrial Engineering.
• 1–3 years as methodologist or process engineer in metalworking/manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CATIA VS and ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of aerospace regulations and tolerances is a plus.
• Availability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop new manufacturing methods and process cycles for machine tools and complex assemblies based on drawings and aerospace specs.
• Manage production of initial batches for parts according to defined methods.
• Prepare manufacturing studies and analyses for new components with plans and documentation.
• Define assembly and machining sequences and draft supporting technical documentation.
