Empire Tours & Productions seeks a Country Operations Manager to lead its Italian operations, starting with Milan and Rome and expanding across Italy.

The role is hands-on: develop strategy, hire and train teams, negotiate with suppliers, and personally guide tours during launch while local teams are built. Excellent English/Italian proficiency and a strong operations background are essential.

Competenze

• Certified/licensed Italian Tour Guide (required).
• Fully bilingual in English and Italian (required).
• Significant management or operational leadership experience.
• Experience managing teams and multiple priorities.
• Strong commercial judgment and financial literacy.

Mansioni

• Lead the launch and ongoing management of Empire's Italian operations (Milan, Rome, and beyond).
• Develop and launch the Italian tour portfolio from scratch with product and operations teams.
• Personally guide tours during launch and ramp-up until local guides are hired.
• Recruit, train and retain city managers, tour guides and operational staff.
• Build relationships with attractions, museums, transport providers, venues and local partners.
• Ensure operations, customer experience, guide quality, scheduling and day-to-day execution.
