Prysmian in Merlino (LO), Italy, seeks an Energy Cable Designer to join the Italy R&D Design & Cost team. The role focuses on designing electrical cables, costing, and providing technical data for sales.
The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 1–2 years in industry, and fluency in Italian and English. Join a matrix organization with strong collaboration across development and manufacturing.
We are looking for a bright engineer to join our Italy R&D Design&Cost team, as an Energy Cable Designer; the resource will be based in Merlino (LO) and will be part of the R&D team supporting Italian-based factories.
The responsibilities of the team are:
Successful candidates are curious, eager to learn about cable making industry - through proper training and coaching on the job by senior colleagues and direct manager; he/she has a very positive and proactive approach, resilience to face challenging situations/targets and ability to cooperate with different functions inside the organization.
