Job summary

Ecolab seeks a Logistics Manager Italy to lead the end-to-end Supply Chain within the Italian region, reporting to the Supply Chain Director. You will oversee logistics, demand planning, and customer service to deliver excellent customer experience and cost-efficient solutions.

You will manage a team, collaborate with sales, R&D and marketing, and drive improvements in replenishment, inventory forecasting, shortages resolution, and delivery execution.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Business Administration degree required; Masters in Supply Chain is a bonus.
• 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, Operations, or related functions; 3+ years in a Logistics Manager role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Operational SAP knowledge
• Project management qualification is a bonus; PM experience is a must
• Exposure to TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principals
• Financial acumen demonstrated through coursework or experience

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of our Supply Chain Organization to improve customer experience.
• Develop and deploy efficient and effective Supply Chain solutions to protect customer service and costs.
• Implement Continuous improvement Projects to improve cost and service.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, especially with Divisions in Italy and the wider organization within Ecolab.
• Develop close relationships with Ecolab's 3PLs, ensuring performance per contract terms.
• Provide Supply Chain guidance to the Italy Management Team as a subject matter expert.
• Manage quality, service and cost metrics; monitor and report KPIs; implement improvement plans.
• Support Switzerland Supply Chain Team driving cost and service improvements.
