Job summary

Cross Border Talents in Lisbon is seeking Italian-speaking Banking & Financial Services Specialists to join an international customer support team.

You will handle inquiries via phone, email and chat, assist with transactions, fraud cases and disputes, and deliver a high-quality customer experience.

This 12-month contract offers 40-hour weeks, rotating shifts, and benefits including health insurance, flight reimbursement, accommodation option, and free Portuguese classes.

Qualifications

• Fluent Italian and good English communication are required.
• Customer-focused with empathetic approach and strong listening skills.
• Ability to handle complex situations and make sound decisions.
• Able to work independently and also collaborate with a team.
• Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries via phone, email and chat, aiming for first-contact resolution.
• Manage customer cases from start to finish, including complex requests.
• Provide support with banking transactions, fraud-related cases, disputes and chargebacks.
• Handle complaints professionally and ensure fair outcomes.
• Identify and support vulnerable customers and adapt approach as needed.
• Follow procedures while using good judgment in complex situations.
• Share knowledge and feedback to improve processes and support.
• Adapt quickly to changing customer and business needs.
