The role emphasizes supplier collaboration, cost and lead-time management, and cross-functional communication with product teams and engineering. Experience in leather goods sourcing and hardware components is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing, leather goods, accessories, or supplier management.
• Familiarity with hardware and metal components is preferred.
• Strong commercial and product understanding.
• Existing industry relationships within Italy are an advantage.
• Remote, contract-based and project-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with sourcing, product-development, and supplier-management teams.
• Identify relevant leather goods and accessories development opportunities.
• Provide insights into supplier requirements, product specifications, cost, quality, and lead-time expectations.
• Support discussions between Italian product teams and YIBI's engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Monitor developments within the Italian leather goods and accessories supply chain.
