Job summary

Welo Data, part of Welocalize, seeks a detail‑minded QC Specialist for an AI data annotation project. You will review Trainers' work—questions, images, and golden answers—to verify accuracy, consistency, and guideline adherence. Remote, freelance, 10 hours weekly with $43.2/hr.

You will flag issues, provide constructive feedback, and report recurring errors to the team to maintain high data quality. Strong Italian plus English feedback skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Native/strong proficiency in Italian.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent attention to detail and a quality mindset.
• Good visual observation and reading comprehension.
• Ability to apply guidelines consistently.
• Strong written English communication for feedback.
• QA/ data review experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review tasks submitted by Trainers (question, image, golden answer).
• Independently verify whether the golden answer matches the image.
• Identify incorrect, incomplete, ambiguous, or inconsistent answers.
• Provide clear feedback or corrections to improve data quality.
• Track recurring error patterns and report to the project team.
• Ensure Trainer output meets the quality bar before sign‑off.
• Escalate unclear cases (illegible images, ambiguous questions).
