Job summary

BCIC Swiss GmbH is seeking an IT Support Specialist for on-site duties in Italy. Qualifications

• Several years of experience in the IT field.
• Experience in help desk and ticketing environments.
• Ability to install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of Mac OS for supporting Apple PC users.
• Strong problem solving and customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber.
• Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Performs remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems related to network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
