OverIT is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead IT projects in the Field Service Management SaaS space in Italy. You will plan, coordinate and deliver projects with cross-functional teams, engaging clients and stakeholders across the DACH region.

The role requires fluent German and English, IT project management experience, and a consulting mindset. The position offers hybrid working across Italy, with competitive pay and opportunities for growth.

Competenze

• German and English fluency in speaking and writing is required.
• Project management experience in an IT environment, ideally SaaS or system integrators.
• Consulting or customer-facing background is advantageous.
• International project experience with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder interfacing.
• Willingness to develop requirements, manage backlogs, and draft SOWs.
• Proactive ownership mindset and strong organizational skills.
• Certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, PMP, ITIL or PRINCE2 are a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region.

What you’ll do

• Project Planning & Execution: Define clear objectives, scopes, and key deliverables. Contribute to project roadmaps, timelines, and support effective resource and budget allocation.
• Team Leadership: Direct project teams, establish responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide constructive guidance to cultivate a collaborative workspace while resolving issues effectively.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations and facilitating transparent communication across all project phases.
• Risk Mitigation: Help identify potential project risks early and support the implementation of mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Management: Help ensure deliverables align with established quality standards through continuous assessments, audits, and process improvements.
• Project Delivery & Closure: Support the completion of projects, including contract wrap-up, lessons-learned documentation, and final reporting.
• Client Collaboration: Liaise with technical teams to align on customer requirements and help identify new commercial opportunities.

What you’ll need

• Language Skills: Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• Project Management Experience: Previous experience (or strong exposure) to project management in an IT environment, ideally within SaaS companies or system integrators; familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies is a plus.
• Consulting Mindset: Prior experience in a consulting or customer-facing role, preferably within the software industry, is an advantage.
• International Exposure: Interest in or experience with managing cross-functional, international projects.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interface with customers and internal stakeholders at various levels.
• Client Engagement: Willingness to develop skills in gathering customer requirements, managing product backlogs, estimating effort, and supporting the drafting of Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Proactivity & Ownership: A proactive, hands-on attitude, strong organizational skills, and eagerness to grow into a demanding, international customer-facing role.
• Certifications: Certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, PMP, ITIL, or PRINCE2 are a plus.
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within the DACH region for customer visits.

What is nice to have:

• Industry Experience: Experience in delivering FSM solutions in industries such as Energy, Utilities, Telecommunications, and Rail is advantageous.

• The expected annual gross salary range for this position is €38,000-€55,000.
