Inventronics, established in 2007, Treviso site, seeks an on-site IT infrastructure expert to manage local servers, networking and daily employee IT support. Following global standards, the role ensures high system availability, cybersecurity protection and stable business continuity for efficient local operations.

You will join an international team and implement headquarters’ IT standards locally, perform patching and backups, and mitigate risks.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional IT infrastructure experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of servers, networking, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with patch management, backups and incident response.
• Multinational work experience is a plus; certifications are welcomed.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

As the core on-site IT infrastructure expert, this role end-to-end manages local IT infrastructure, server and network lifecycle, and delivers daily employee IT support. Following global corporate standards and compliance requirements, the position ensures high system availability, cybersecurity protection and stable business continuity to support efficient local operations. In this role you will be part of an international team and you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Serve as the on-site single point of contact for all local IT service requests and incidents, providing timely technical support to reduce business downtime;
• Deploy, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot local server and network infrastructure, ensuring stable and reliable IT service performance;
• Perform system patching, firmware updates and regular or unscheduled infrastructure maintenance activities;
• Perform basic maintenance on servers and network facilities, including logging into these devices to make updates, restarts, and other necessary operations
• Proactively identify and mitigate operational, infrastructure and cybersecurity risks, supporting vulnerability remediation and security optimization;
• Ensure business continuity by effectively managing on-site operational and cybersecurity risks and maintaining stable core IT services;
• Implement headquarters’ unified IT technical standards, policies and deployment requirements at the local level;
• Escalate complex and high-impact technical issues to headquarters, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date IT technical documentation and operation records;
• Support local IT infrastructure projects and continuous service optimization by analyzing recurring issues and improving on-site IT service capabilities;

Job requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT Infrastructure;
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline;
• Proven experience in the management of servers, operating systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.;
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure-related issues;
• Previous experience in structured and/or multinational organizations is considered a plus;
• Professional certifications in infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, or cloud technologies are considered a plus, such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Azure, AWS, or equivalent certifications;
• Fluent english, both written and spoken.

Technical Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of server administration and IT infrastructure management;
• Strong knowledge of key networking protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing;
• Solid knowledge of server operating systems, preferably Microsoft Windows Server and/or Linux environments;
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and environments;
• Experience with Active Directory and key Microsoft infrastructure services;
• Knowledge of backup systems and disaster recovery procedures;
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles applied to IT infrastructure;
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, server, and networking environments;
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and management tools;
• Familiarity with IT incident and infrastructure problem management processes;
• Knowledge of cloud and IaaS/PaaS services is considered a plus;

Technologies and Infrastructure

The ideal candidate should have good to excellent knowledge of some of the following technologies:

• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, VPNs, firewalls, NAS.
• Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent technologies.
• Backup & Recovery: backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
• Monitoring: infrastructure monitoring systems and alert management tools.
• Security: hardening principles, patch management, endpoint/server security, and access

The working model will be defined according to the company’s organizational structure and the operational requirements of the IT infrastructure.

The role may require activities at company sites and, where necessary, planned or emergency interventions on infrastructure systems.

Compensation Package

Indicative gross annual salary (RAL): €40.000 – €45.000, consistent to experience and qualifications
