The role emphasizes reliability, security and continuous evolution, with involvement in infrastructure projects and collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & System Administrator to join our IT team and contribute to the management, security and continuous improvement of the company's IT infrastructure.

The role covers both on-premise and cloud environments, with responsibility for ensuring the reliability, performance and security of servers, virtualization platforms, networks and core IT services. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business operations while contributing to infrastructure projects and technology evolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments, including physical and virtual servers.
• Administer VMware virtualized infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance and scalability.
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory, user access, group policies and core infrastructure services.
• Support and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls and connectivity services.
• Contribute to the company's cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring systems remain secure, updated and compliant with internal standards.
• Manage and monitor backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Support hybrid environments, including on-premise systems and Microsoft Azure services.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and second-level support for infrastructure-related issues.
• Monitor system performance, identify improvement opportunities and contribute to infrastructure enhancement projects.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, technology vendors and external partners.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualization technologies, preferably VMware vSphere/ESXi.
• Experience managing hybrid infrastructures, including cloud services such as Microsoft Azure.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing and firewall management.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
