Maison Valentino invites you to join its IT Finance team in Milan as an IT Finance Intern, combining finance processes with IT tools to support accounting, controlling, and reporting. This internship offers hands-on exposure to SAP systems and a creative, inclusive culture.

You will provide operational support for routine IT Finance activities, assist in managing finance applications (ERP, reporting, and controlling tools), and help with month-end close and data verification.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, computer science, management engineering, or related field.
• Interest in finance processes and information systems.
• Strong Excel and Office Suite skills.
• Analytical mindset and data analysis interest.

The IT Finance Intern supports the Finance and IT teams, based in Milan, in their day-to-day operations, contributing to the effective management of SAP information systems that support accounting, controlling, and reporting processes. The internship aims to provide an integrated understanding of both financial processes and IT tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for routine IT Finance activities.
• Assist in the management and maintenance of Finance applications and systems (ERP, reporting, and controlling tools).
• Support monthly closing activities and accounting data verification.
• Collaborate in the collection, analysis, and reconciliation of financial and economic data.
• Support Finance users with first-level assistance (tickets, issue reporting, and testing activities).
• Update process documentation and operational procedures.
• Assist with application testing activities related to system enhancements and updates resulting from the adoption of SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (ongoing or recently completed) in Economics, Computer Science, Management Engineering, or a related field.
• Interest in Finance processes and information systems.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical mindset and interest in data analysis.
• Accuracy, reliability, and strong organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English.
