Bending Spoons in Milan seeks a talented, driven legal professional to help shape and protect our IP strategy while supporting growth across multiple jurisdictions.

You will manage the IP portfolio, run disputes, and negotiate agreements, providing practical legal counsel on products, transactions, and acquisitions. Relocation and remote work options with equity opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Law degree required; experience at a law firm or in-house counsel advisable.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to handle complex regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Shape our intellectual property strategy. Build and implement scalable processes to advance our IP strategy.
• Manage our portfolio. Harvest inventions and identify trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks, designs, and database rights, and drive portfolio decisions across jurisdictions.
• Run IP disputes and enforcement. Coordinate cross-border disputes, litigation, and enforcement with outside counsel and high standards.
• Draft and negotiate IP agreements; review, draft, and negotiate technology and IP terms while managing risk.
• Be a generalist. Advise on product decisions, commercial transactions, and acquisitions across IP, OSS, liability, advertising, consumer and commercial matters.
• Build scalable legal tools; create forms, playbooks, and AI-powered workflows for high-growth operations.
• Stay ahead of regulation; monitor developments and identify opportunities to unlock value.
