Haier Europe in Vimercate, Italy, seeks an IoT Technology Senior Manager to lead the European technology delivery of our international connected platform. This pivotal role combines technical leadership with international collaboration to ensure secure, scalable experiences across millions of connected appliances.

Competenze

• 5+ years' experience leading IoT, platform or software teams.
• Proven record delivering secure, scalable platforms across multiple products and markets.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across international organisations.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, mobile applications, connected devices and firmware integration.
• Experience in Agile software delivery, CI/CD, release management, QA and platform operations.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, security and privacy including GDPR/RED.
• Experience managing external technology partners and outsourced engineering organisations.
• Influence without authority to align priorities across geographies.
• Engineering-led technologist who focuses on consumer experience.
• Fluent English; Italian or other European languages a plus.

Mansioni

• Own the European technology delivery of our international connected platform, delivering reliable, scalable and secure experiences.
• Represent European requirements within the international platform organisation and influence priorities.
• Lead delivery of mobile apps, cloud services, APIs, device onboarding, connectivity and OTA updates.
• Ensure successful delivery of NPIs, platform enhancements and technical improvements via planning and release management.
• Champion engineering excellence: platform reliability, performance, quality, monitoring and reducing technical debt.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, RED and other European standards.
• Collaborate with UX, Product, Service, Digital and Marketing to make platforms simple and valuable for consumers.
• Lead and develop a high-performing IoT technology team and manage strategic external partners.
• Enable integration of emerging technologies including AI to keep the platform scalable and secure.
• Define and track platform KPIs related to delivery speed, stability, app ratings and compliance.
• Stay ahead of new technologies to evolve a secure, scalable and future-ready platform.
