Kion Group AG in Lainate (MI) is seeking a Solution Designer to support the growth of our intralogistics automation business across EMEA. You will analyze customer needs and design innovative, cost-effective intralogistics solutions using AS/RS, AGVs/AMRs, shuttle systems, conveyors, and picking systems.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and service to ensure successful project execution and strong customer relationships.

Competenze

• Completed studies in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in solution design, system integration, or technical consulting within automation or intralogistics.
• Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CET Designer, Sim3D/PlantSim).

• Analyze customer needs thoroughly and create the right intralogistics automation solutions tailored to their requirements.
• Consult with customers and internal teams to design the optimal intralogistics solution, ensuring feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop winning solutions.
• Coordinate technical details with engineering, project management, and service to ensure seamless delivery.
• Develop detailed technical documentation, including layouts, equipment specs, and system architectures.
