Job summary

GE Aerospace (Avio Aero) seeks an Intern – Production Controller at the Pomigliano d'Arco plant. You will bridge the shop floor and fulfillment teams, monitoring production lines and supporting scheduling and planning activities.

The role emphasizes learning how to monitor production, verify supplier commitments, and drive improvements in lead time and inventory while communicating across functions. Fluency in Italian and English is required, and a valid work visa is necessary.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Management) required.
• Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Analytical, organizational and planning skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of technical drawing.
• Curious and eager to learn; able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Fluent Italian and English.
• Work Visa in accordance with local regulations is required.

• Monitor shop production to ensure adherence to delivery plan.
• Verify supplier commitments and expedite delays to maintain production scheduling.
• Support shop activities and collaborate with Materials Planning to improve lead time, turns and inventory.

Essential Responsibilities

• Learn how to monitor shop production in order to assure delivery plan
• Verify supplier commit and expedite delays to ensure production scheduling
• Support shop activities
• Support shop and Materials Planning team to improve production lead time, turns and inventory
• Provide support in communication among different functions
• Monitor operational alignment with production plan and KPIs

Qualifications/Requirements

• Master's Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Mechanical Engineering of Management Engineering
• Knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
• Analytical, organizational and planning skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of technical drawing
• Curious and eager to learn
• Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently
• Fluent Italian and English
• Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
