Job summary

GE Aerospace (Avio Aero) in Italy is seeking a trainee to support workforce analysis and production planning. You will learn to monitor KPIs, analyze costs and forecast shop needs, gaining hands-on experience in manufacturing target costing and time measurement techniques. Fluency in Italian and good English are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Management Engineering is required.
• Fluent Italian and a good level of English.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to perform monthly workforce analysis at plant level, driving variance analysis by shop.
• Help in monitoring performance KPIs and targets, ensuring alignment with costs and efficiency.
• Support in monitoring and analysing production requirements.
• Learn how to plan and forecast shop needs to ensure proper utilization of the workforce.
• Support in Manufacturing Target Cost definition during cost estimation.
• Learn and apply methods to measure routing time with stopwatch.
• Contribute to Hourly (Direct/Indirect) analysis Activities and define workforce needs.
• Assist in consolidating Hourly Strategic Workforce Planning.

• Learn how to perform monthly workforce analysis at plant level, driving variance analysis by shop
• Help in monitoring performance KPIs and targets, ensuring the alignment with costs and efficiency
• Support in monitoring and analysing production requirements
• Learn how to plan and forecast shops needs to ensure proper and optimized level of utilization of the workforce
• Support Manufacturing Target Cost definition during cost estimation
• Learn and apply technical method to measure routing time with stopwatch
• Take part in Hourly (Direct/Indirect) analysis activities and provide criteria for definition of the workforce needs
• Learn how to consolidate the Hourly Strategic Workforce Planning

Essential Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Management Engineering
• Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Power Point)
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawing & technical specifications
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
• Analytical and organizational ability
• Fluent Italian and good level of English
• Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
