Job summary

Avio Aero in Rivalta di Torino area seeks a Service Cell Leader to run daily operations across all Special Processes on the production lines, ensuring reliability and consistency.

You will lead teams, apply FLIGHTDECK methodologies, and drive safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements while coordinating with other functions to meet manufacturing targets. English and Italian fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aeronautical or industrial engineering or high school diploma with manufacturing experience.
• Experience as a people leader in an operations environment.
• Knowledge of aerospace product and process requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Capacity analysis skills (soft and hard).
• Fluent English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Work visa according to local regulations.

Job Description Summary

As Service Cell Leader you will manage the daily operations of the cell to ensure reliability and consistency on the production lines. This includes all Special Processes areas. You will impact approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. You will impact quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team and you will have significant input into priorities. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Essential Responsibilities

Managing service e visual inspection area Running the cells using FLIGHT DECK systematic approach to deliver exceptional value as measured through the eyes of external and internal customers. Provide leadership (Act with Humility, Lead with Transparency, and Deliver with Focus) in the areas of staff selection, training and development, facility planning and construction, process, and procedure implementation. Responsible for achieving business goals: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs. Promoting and driving continuous improvement approach using FLIGHTDECK methodology and provide process method excellence throughout the organization. Lead team and supporting functions to achieve goals in asset utilization, process / manufacturing loss improvement, delivered quality and cost reduction Ensure communication of key business / customer issues to employees Interface with other organizations to assure requirements are met on time. Provide ongoing supervision and counseling for employees, guiding them in the current position and assisting with career development and training. Work with functional leaders, and internal staff to meet production and product support requirements. Facilitate the leadership team in decision-making and problem solving and provide effective communication across the plant.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aeronautical or industrial engineering or High school Diploma with proven manufacturing processes experiences Previous experience as people leader in operations environment Knowledge of product and processes for aerospace components Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Soft and hard capacity analysis skill Demonstrated ability to manage and assign tasks/priorities to a successful completion Ability to anticipate customer needs and ensure that they are met Good English and fluent Italian, oral and written Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

Contract Level: CCNL metalmeccanico – level A1

Salary range for this role: 54,375.00 - 81,562.50 EUR Annual + Performance-related bonus + PDR up to 6000 euro Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
