Pirelli is offering a Finance internship focused on statutory financial statements and general accounting in Milano. The role provides hands-on experience within an international environment and supports the team with routine accounting and monthly/quarterly reporting activities.

The internship offers exposure to Italian GAAP and IFRS, VAT settlements, and asset capitalization processes, with guidance from a tutor and room for professional growth.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Economics (administrative - accounting)
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles, IFRS and MS Excel
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and team work

Mansioni

• Support accounting activities for the Italian Group companies, ensuring accurate records and period-end closings.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Contribute to VAT settlements, recurring tax compliance activities and asset capitalization under Italian GAAP and IFRS.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, quarterly and annual reporting packages.
• Prepare reports for external stakeholders, including supervisory authorities and auditors.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and internal controls and closing/reporting procedures.

As a member of the Financial Statements and General Accounting team in the Headquarter, the candidate supports routine accounting and monthly and quarterly reporting activities. This internship offers hands‑on experience providing a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, fast‑paced, and international environment.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will collaborate with your tutor in:

• Support accounting activities for the Italian Group companies, ensuring accurate records and contributing to period-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, following up on outstanding items and ensuring data reliability.
• Contribute to VAT settlements, recurring tax compliance activities and selected asset capitalization processes under Italian GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, quarterly and annual reporting packages and related documentation.
• Prepare reports and information for external stakeholders, including supervisory authorities, auditors and statutory bodies.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes, internal controls and closing/reporting procedures.
