Pirelli & C. S.p.A. in Milano offers a statutory financial statement and general accounting internship within the Finance, M&A & Risk Management function. You will work closely with a tutor on routine accounting and monthly/quarterly reporting tasks in a fast-paced, international environment.

The role provides hands-on experience in Italian GAAP and IFRS, with exposure to statutory drafting, reconciliations, and closing procedures, ideal for graduates seeking a career in finance and accounting.

Competenze

Master’s degree in Economics with an administrative/accounting profile.
Good knowledge of Italian general accounting principles, IFRS and MS Excel.
Good knowledge of Italian and English.

Mansioni

Support accounting activities for the Italian Group companies, ensuring accurate records and contributing to period-end closing processes.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, following up on outstanding items and ensuring data reliability.
Contribute to VAT settlements, recurring tax compliance activities and selected asset capitalization processes under Italian GAAP and IFRS standards.
Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, quarterly and annual reporting packages and related documentation.
Prepare reports and information for external stakeholders, including supervisory authorities, auditors and statutory bodies.
Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes, internal controls and closing/reporting procedures.

As a member of the Financial Statements and General Accounting team in the Headquarter, the candidate supports routine accounting and monthly and quarterly reporting activities. This internship offers hands-on experience providing a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international environment.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will collaborate with your tutor in:
