Pirelli & C. S.p.A. invites applications for an Internship in Statutory Financial Statement and General Accounting at its Milano headquarters.

The role supports routine accounting, monthly/quarterly reporting, and VAT/compliance work in a dynamic, international environment. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Economics with an accounting focus, excellent Italian and English, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Economics (administrative - accounting profile).
• Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Support accounting activities for the Italian Group companies and assist month-end closing.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on items.
• Contribute to VAT settlements and recurring tax compliance activities.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and reporting packages.
• Provide information for external stakeholders and auditors.
• Support process improvements in accounting controls and reporting.

As a member of the Financial Statements and General Accounting team in the Headquarter, the candidate supports routine accounting and monthly and quarterly reporting activities. This internship offers hands‑on experience providing a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, fast‑paced, and international environment.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Support accounting activities for the Italian Group companies, ensuring accurate records and contributing to period‑end closing processes.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, following up on outstanding items and ensuring data reliability.
• Contribute to VAT settlements, recurring tax compliance activities and selected asset capitalization processes under Italian GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, quarterly and annual reporting packages and related documentation.
• Prepare reports and information for external stakeholders, including supervisory authorities, auditors and statutory bodies.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes, internal controls and closing/reporting procedures.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Master’s degree in Economics (administrative - accounting profile).
• Good knowledge of Italian general accounting principles, IFRS and MS Excel.
• Good knowledge of Italian and English.
• Problem – solving capacity and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
