Job summary

ElevenLabs is hiring an Internal AI Engineer to co-design and ship agentic AI workflows that reduce manual toil across GTM, Operations, and Finance. You will own end-to-end automation projects, partner with internal teams, and help shape the blueprint for safe and fast AI at scale.

The role emphasizes AI-first principles, backend engineering, and building scalable automation patterns in a remote-first, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building automations or applications in production.
• AI-First instincts with LLM capabilities, prompting strategies and RAG patterns.
• Deep backend expertise: Python, SQL and system design (APIs, webhooks, orchestration).
• Systems-thinking mindset: security, auditability, blast radius considerations.
• Builder mindset: ability to identify patterns, propose fixes, and ship.
• Infra & DevOps experience: cloud infrastructure (GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, enterprise auth.

Responsibilities

• Designing and iterating on AI agents and workflow orchestrations using tools like ElevenAgents, Claude, and n8n.
• Integrating AI systems with Salesforce, Slack, Ashby and more.
• Building reusable automation services, patterns and shared templates across teams.
• Owning experiments end-to-end: identify opportunity, build solution, measure impact.
• Developing evaluation & monitoring frameworks for reliable, auditable, and safe AI workflows.
