Baker Hughes is offering an Internship in Materials Planning and Execution in Italy (Toscana). You will gain hands-on experience by supporting production planning, coordinating with internal lines and external suppliers, and contributing to continuous improvement projects.

You will be mentored by a manager and buddy, with exposure to HS&E culture and a diverse, inclusive environment. The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and practical problem-solving in a global energy company.

Formación

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a relevant field.
• Experience in production control, planning or supervision is a plus.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
• Fluent in English and Italian, with strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with Medium Term Planner and internal manufacturing lines to identify bottlenecks and recovery plans.
• Lead short-term planning activities for internal production lines.
• Coordinate and monitor external supplier activities and cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks and shortages.
• Analyze performance metrics and report production data to support scheduling and optimization.
• Prepare and manage material flow, inventory control parameters, and traceability records.

As an Materials Planning and Execution Specialist Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with Medium Term Planner and with internal manufacturing lines to identify criticalities and recovery plans such as material shortage status, timely transactions, Non-Conformities follow up, scrap& re-work, etc.
• Leading the short term plan and activities related to internal production lines
• Coordinating, monitoring and controlling Farm-out Activities with external Suppliers Overseeing cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks, materials shortages, machine maintenance, manpower issues and shop capacity
• Monitoring, analyzing ,and reporting performance metrics and production Interact with Sourcing department for criticalities management and with other functions for strategic initiatives on simplification and cost reduction
• Coordinating and expediting the placement of purchase orders, delivery of material, and finished goods Schedule, expedite, and coordinate the delivery & movement of critical material, including material transfers, and conditional material releases
• Performing data analysis and decision making to support department material supply to meet production schedules
• Coordinating the planning of current schedules and inventory control parameters for the assigned products
• Maintaining accurate traceability for all records created during products manufacturing. Complying with company policy and process including but not limit in compliance, quality, production EHS, HR & Admin, Lean etc.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelors' or Masters' level degree in in a relevant field or an experience in production control, planning or supervision.
• Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
• Be fluent in oral and written English and Italian, and have effective communication skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work in cross-functional teams in a global-matrix environment
• Have the ability to work independently and be able to identify and drive process improvements
• Pro-activity and accuracy in data processing
• Have a good knowledge of MS Office and Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Display a mechanical mindset with an analytical approach to innovation
• Six Sigma training or equivalent Quality Training Knowledge of value stream mapping, one-piece flow, AWO, Kaizen, 5s and other lean tools is preferred.
• Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction

The fixed allowance for this position will be between this range: 600 - 1000 € gross monthly.The allowance will be established in accordance with criteria related to the candidate’s academic status and their distance from the workplace.
