The Leading Hotels of the World Luxury Segment sales is looking for an intern to join the EMEA team based in Milan. The position will give the right candidate an opportunity to understand the Luxury goods market which is an integral part of a luxury hotel strategy.

This is a 6-month internship starting mid October 2026. To support the Director Luxury segment in the execution of groups and transient bookings process, and to gain hands-on exposure to luxury market dynamics and the hotel strategy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Italian.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Mansioni

• Support the Luxury segment sales team in daily tasks.
• Prepare supporting documents and reports for the Luxury sales team.
• Clean-up accounts & contacts in LHW sales database.
• Organize and coordinate sales initiatives and events with stakeholders.
• Support LHW webinars and hotel presentations for the team.
• Create presentation decks for sales pitches.
• Research luxury trends for the sales team.
• Update the LHW Hotelier Portal, LHW Sales Portal and Discussion Board.
• Enter data and process groups in Salesforce.
• Assist in sales activities dedicated to Luxury Goods companies and MICE agencies.

Key Goal of the internship:

To support the Director Luxury segment in the execution of groups and transient bookings process.

What you would be responsible for:

• Assist the Luxury segment sales team in daily tasks:
  • Prepare supporting documents and reports for the Luxury sales team.
  • Assist in cleaning-up accounts & contacts in LHW sales database.
  • Organize and coordinate sales initiatives and events with stakeholders and other ad-hoc activities.
  • Organizing and supporting LHW webinars and hotel presentations for the team.
  • Creating presentation decks for sales pitches.
  • Luxury trends research for the sales team
  • Manage updates of the LHW Hotelier Portal, LHW Sales Portal and Discussion Board
  • Insert data and process groups in Sales Force
  • Assist in sales activities dedicated to Luxury Goods companies and MICE agencies

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.

• Self-motivator with the ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Cultural sensitivity, trustworthiness, responsibility and dependability.
• Ability to represent/demonstrate LHW core values.
• Good knowledge of Luxury markets and industries (yacht, fashion, watches, jewelry, spirit, automotive beauty)

Placement compensation/ Internship outline:

• Minimum of 6 consecutive months.
• Only as mandatory internship for university/higher education.
• Paid Internship (500€ net/ month).
• Possibility of preparing thesis during internship.
• The position will be at the office in Milan, Via Manuzio 7.
