Job summary

Qualifications

• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale) or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the country without company sponsorship or time restriction.

Our team develops innovative AI-powered solutions that support the optimization and digital transformation of industrial processes within the energy sector. We design, implement, and deploy advanced Artificial Intelligence technologies across a wide range of applications, including process automation, intelligent troubleshooting, 2D/3D CAD automation, RAG systems, intelligent document processing, and agentic AI solutions. Working at the intersection of Data, AI, and Engineering, the team is responsible for researching emerging technologies, developing production-ready applications, and deploying scalable AI solutions across both cloud and edge environments.

You’ll participate in focused training, and team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset. You will also have the opportunity to become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) and culture of Baker Hughes, as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from a Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer, AI, Robotics, Automation, Electronics, or Mechatronics) or a related technical field.
• Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country.
• Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills.
• Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction.

The fixed allowance for this position will be between this range: 600 - 1000 € gross monthly. The allowance will be established in accordance with criteria related to the candidate’s academic status and their distance from the workplace.
