Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Customer Service Inside Sales Specialist in Lucca, Italy, to manage repair opportunities for machine components on customer production lines.

You will guide the process from initial inquiry and technical assessment through quotation, repair execution, and return delivery, acting as the main customer contact and coordinating with Engineering, Quality Control, Warehouse, Procurement, Planning, Workshop, and Shipping.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and BOMs.
• Experience in technical Customer Service, spare parts, repairs, or after-sales in manufacturing.
• Proficient with MS Office and SAP ERP.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete repair process for customer-owned components from inquiry to return shipment.
• Collect technical information to define scope with Engineering and specialists.
• Prepare and present technical-commercial quotations with costs, lead times, risks, and options.
• Coordinate with Quality, Warehouse, Procurement, Planning, Workshop, and Shipping.
• Identify repair opportunities and strengthen the repair business.
