Porsche Consulting is seeking a Consultant Industrialization & Supply Chain for the Aerospace & Defence industry. You will lead interdisciplinary and international teams, work closely with C-level decision-makers, design scalable, sustainable solutions, and manage project workstreams from concept to execution.

This role requires deep aerospace knowledge, 5–7 years in industrialization and supply chain, plus hands-on experience with IIoT, AI/ML, and Digital Twin technologies.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering (Aerospace preferred); MBA or PhD seen as a plus.
• 5–7 years in Industrialization, Supply Chain, or Operations in Space or Aerospace.
• Deep knowledge of Space programs, certification requirements, and stakeholder env.
• Experience with IIoT, AI/ML, big data and digital twin tech.
• Proven ability to lead teams and present to C-level stakeholders.

Your role

You will play a key role leading interdisciplinary and international teams working closely with C‑level decision‑makers to design tailored, scalable, and sustainable solutions; Manage project workstreams, engage senior stakeholders, and present recommendations to executive leadership.

Working at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will support leading Aerospace & Defence players in addressing some of their most critical challenges, helping them unlock growth and build the industrial capabilities required to compete in one of the world's fastest‑growing industries, including:

• Aerospace, Defence & New Space industry
• Program management and systems integration
• Industrialization and production ramp‑up
• Supply chain, procurement and supplier excellence
• Complex architecture and ecosystem deployment
• Capacity planning and industrial readiness
• Operational excellence and value chain transformation

This role requires full availability to travel (80% of your working time will be spent at client sites in Italy and abroad (EU and extra EU)).

Your profile

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Aerospace Engineering) or an equivalent qualification. A PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Space‑related disciplines, or an MBA is considered a strong plus
• 5-7 years of experience in Industrialization, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or Operational Excellence within the Space, Aerospace & Defence industry
• Deep knowledge of the Space sector, including space programs and products, certification requirements, technical specifications, and complex stakeholder environments
• Strong knowledge of both traditional Space and New Space business models, including dual‑use technologies and emerging industry ecosystems
• Proven experience across the value chain, from product development and industrialization to supplier management, production ramp‑up, and operational scaling
• Hands‑on experience with key enabling technologies, including the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Big Data & Analytics, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Digital Twin technologies
• Direct experience managing teams and resources
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Enthusiasm for driving change
• Excellent command of Microsoft and AI‑powered tools
• Fluency in both Italian and English. Knowledge of French or German is a plus
• Willingness to travel and embrace new challenges

In accordance with applicable Italian pay transparency requirements, the annual gross base salary for this role in Italy starts at € 44,000. The final fixed salary will be determined based on objective, role‑related criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, demonstrated skills, and overall fit for the role.
