ABB E-mobility in Italy is seeking an Industrialization Engineer to transform cutting-edge R&D designs into scalable, cost-efficient production solutions. You will bridge R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure fast product availability and a smooth Start of Production.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or similar) is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrialization, NPI, or production engineering.
• Fluent professional English and Italian, excellent communication.
• Experience in cross-functional and international environments is essential.
• Knowledge of DFx methodologies and lean Six Sigma approaches is expected.

Mansioni

• Lead end-to-end industrialization activities across all project phases (MS1-MS5) for SOP readiness.
• Define and manage the industrialization master plan, including process concepts, capacity, validation strategy, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with International R&D to embed manufacturability and scalability into product design.
• Drive modular manufacturing strategies and reuse of standardized processes, equipment, and tooling.
• Lead DFx activities (DfM, DfT, DfA, DfS) translating design requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
• Define manufacturing concepts (layout, automation, flow) and manage CapEx, supplier selection, and commissioning.
• Monitor and improve KPIs (FPY, OEE, cycle time) and drive cost reduction.
