LHH is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead the HSE activities at our plant in Emilia-Romagna. The role collaborates closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance and HR to embed safety into daily operations, including health surveillance and environmental management.

The ideal candidate has a background in engineering or environmental disciplines, hands-on experience with ISO 45001/14001 and strong stakeholder coordination, with fluent Italian and good English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in an HSE role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Italian Health & Safety legislation, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience in risk assessment, inspections, audits and incident investigation.
• Fluent Italian and good English.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and group standards.
• Coordinate risk assessments and preventive measures.
• Lead investigations of accidents and near misses with root cause analysis.
• Maintain ISO 45001 and support ISO 14001 initiatives.
• Monitor safety KPIs and prepare improvement reports.
• Coordinate health surveillance and on-site medical activities.
• Oversee environmental management and ISO 14001.
• Engage and train staff to promote safety culture.
