Job summary

ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions is seeking a Project HSE Specialist in Mantova for a permanent full-time role. You will ensure compliance with local laws and HSE standards, implement risk management procedures, and maintain safe working conditions across sites for employees and contractors.

You will lead safety initiatives, monitor exposure, and support LEAN-driven improvements. Strong Italian and English skills are required, with a technical engineering background preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in a similar role
• Experience in manufacturing is a must
• Knowledge of safety at work laws (D.Lgs 81/08)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent Italian and English required

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local legislation and company HSE standards and principles
• Implement effective risk management procedures
• Check site controls for employees, contractors and visitors with properly managed risks
• Maintain high health and hygiene standards and ensure emergency medical response
• Address high-frequency risks (slips, trips, falls) and high-hazard tasks (work at height, hot work)
• Deliver high-quality HSE support including exposure monitoring
• Support LEAN initiatives and drive continuous improvement in Safety/Health/Environmental Sustainability
• Communicate effectively across organizational levels

CCNL Industria Alimentare, 1° livello, gross annual base salary €55.000-60.000

Duties

Work to compliance with local legislation and company HSE standards and principles

Implement eective risk management procedures according the RSPP.

Check the site is under control for employees, contractors and visitors, correct signage and with relevant risks eectively managed.

Work for high standards of health & hygiene conditions for workers, with appropriate emergency medical response.

Work to ensure that specific safe working practices are in place with a focus on high frequency risks (eg slips, trips, falls, injuries from sharp points and edges) and high hazard tasks (eg work at height, critical lifting, hot work).

Deliver high quality and eicient HSE support, e.g. exposure monitoring, health

Support LEAN initiatives.

Concur continuous improvement in Safety / Health / and Environmental Sustainability proposing targets and driving initiatives.

Communicate eectively with dierent organizational levels.

Requirements

• Experience in the role of Assistant of RSPP.
• Ability to achieve results through eective influencing and collaborating
• Understanding of human behaviors/diversity and team dynamics.
• University Degree in technical studies. Engineering background would be preferred.
• Previous experience (4-5 years) in a similar role
• Experience in Manufacturing sector is must.
• Knowledge of current legislation on safety at work basic (d.Lgs 81/08)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient knowledge of Italian and English languages is a must.
