SLB is seeking an Industrial Engineer for a 12‑month fixed‑term, full‑time role based in Colico, Italy. You will contribute to automation projects, digitalization, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, working with experienced teams to drive efficiency.

The role reports to the Industrial Engineer Supervisor. A background in engineering and hands‑on experience in manufacturing, automation, and cost analysis will help you thrive in this position.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a strong interest in automation and process optimization.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques.
• Strong communication, time management and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and investment analysis in a manufacturing context.
• Familiarity with HSE regulations and contractor management in an industrial environment.
• Proficient use of MS Office (Excel).
• Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).

Mansioni

• Implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical and operational support to the Manufacturing Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Manage the budget for capital investments and tooling.
• Coordinate industrial projects, including installation, commissioning, and start-up of new machinery and production systems.
• Monitor and analyze production costs and variances to identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage costs related to supplier quality issues and non-conformities.
• Operate the production time-tracking system.
• Support KPI analysis for decision-making and performance insights.
• Oversee contractor supervision and ensure HSE compliance during external activities.
