Air Liquide in Milano, Lombardia, seeks a technically skilled engineer to design instrumentation and automation solutions for industrial production. You will contribute to safety, reliability, and cost control while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in electricity and instrumentation, proficiency in English and Italian, and a proactive leadership style within a safety-first environment. Occasional travel within Europe may be required.

Competenze

Degree in electronic/automation engineering or related diploma.
At least 3–5 years of experience in electricity and instrumentation in an industrial production environment.
Technical knowledge of plant engineering, control systems, analyzers, instrumentation, control valves, and safety valves.

Mansioni

Identify and develop preliminary and detailed instrumentation/automation solutions following company standards.
Estimate project budgets, prepare RFQs, evaluate supplier offers, and support procurement through PO definition, documentation, and inspections.
Create technical data sheets, specifications, and bid evaluations while participating in risk assessments to ensure safety and reliability.
Supervise external engineering design for quality, budget, and deadlines, and perform technical audits on critical suppliers and installations.
Assist site supervisors with technical issue resolution during construction and deliver internal training on sizing/costing tool
