LELIT cerca un Industrial Design Manager per guidare lo sviluppo di nuovi prodotti e l’evoluzione delle gamme, assicurando coerenza tra estetica, ergonomia e user experience.

La figura coordinerà studi di design, agenzie esterne e fornitori, collaborando con R&D, marketing e strategia per definire CMF e interfacce utente, e supervisionerà la comunicazione con la sede centrale. Possibilità di ibrido e orientamento internazionale.

Competenze

• Laurea in Industrial Design o equivalente.
• Almeno 6 anni di esperienza nello sviluppo di prodotti industrializzati in contesti di produzione.
• Esperienza in CMF (colori/materiali/finiture).
• Esperienza nel definire UX/UI per prodotti fisici, con forte focus su HMI, leggibilità ed ergonomia.
• Conoscenza di principi of Design for Manufacturing (stampaggio a iniezione, lamiera, pressofusione).
• Esperienza nel lavorare con agenzie esterne, studi di design e fornitori e nel definire brief e feedback.
• Capacità di interfacciarsi con HQ o funzioni corporate internazionali e di recepire linee guida.

Mansioni

• Guidare lo sviluppo di nuovi prodotti e l’evoluzione delle gamme, in linea con strategia di prodotto e posizionamento del brand.
• Tradurre concetti e direzioni di design definiti dalla sede in soluzioni coerenti e realizzabili.
• Sviluppare concept di prodotto, proposte estetiche, superfici visibili, dettagli formali, CMF e ipotesi UX/UI.
• Creare o supervisionare modelli CAD 3D relativi a superfici estetiche e componenti rilevanti per l’esperienza utente.
• Produrre rendering e materiali per validazioni interne, revisioni con la sede e allineamento degli stakeholder.
• Coordinare studi di design, agenzie esterne e fornitori per garantire qualità e rispetto delle scadenze.
• Interfacciarsi con HQ per ricevere direttive, feedback e standard di gruppo e implementarli sui progetti locali.
• Collaborare con R&D per garantire fattibilità tecnica, integrabilità meccanica/elettronica e coerenza tra design ed engineering.
• Lavorare con Marketing e Strategia per allineare design, utenti target, posizionamento e proposta di valore.
• Contribuire alla definizione di UX/UI per display, sistemi di controllo, pannelli e interazioni fisiche.
• Gestire lo sviluppo CMF: colori, materiali, finiture e coerenza del prodotto.

The Role

Within our R&D area, we are looking for a Industrial Design Manager who will report to the R&D Manager and lead the design development of new products, as well as the evolution of existing product ranges, ensuring consistency across aesthetics, functionality, ergonomics and user experience.

The person we are looking for will:

• lead the design development of new products and the evolution of existing product ranges, in line with product strategy, brand positioning and Group guidelines;
• translate concepts, design language and aesthetic directions defined by headquarters into coherent and feasible design solutions;
• develop product concepts, aesthetic proposals, visible surfaces, formal details, CMF solutions and UX/UI hypotheses;
• create or supervise 3D CAD models related to aesthetic surfaces, visible parts and components relevant to the user experience;
• produce renders, visualisations and presentation materials for internal validations, reviews with headquarters, stakeholder alignment and project decision-making;
• coordinate design studios, external agencies and component suppliers, ensuring output quality, adherence to briefs, consistency with guidelines and timely progress;
• act as the operational and design interface with headquarters, receiving directions, concepts, feedback, constraints and Group standards, and ensuring their correct implementation in local projects;
• collaborate with R&D to ensure technical feasibility, manufacturability, mechanical/electronic integration and consistency between design and engineering constraints;
• collaborate with Marketing and Strategy to ensure alignment between design, target users, product positioning, user experience and value proposition;
• contribute to the definition of the user experience and user interface for displays, control systems, panels, knobs, buttons and physical interactions with the product;
• oversee CMF development, including the definition of colours, materials, finishes, textures, surface treatments and overall product consistency.

You are the right fit if you have:

• a degree in Industrial Design or an equivalent qualification;
• at least 6 years of experience in the development of industrialised products within manufacturing environments;
• hands‑on experience in CAD modelling of aesthetic surfaces, preferably with SolidWorks;
• experience in CMF development, including Colour, Material and Finish;
• experience in defining UX/UI for physical products, with a strong focus on human-machine interaction, readability, ergonomics and perceived quality;
• knowledge of Design for Manufacturing principles, including injection‑moulded plastics, sheet metal and die casting;
• experience working with external agencies, design studios and suppliers, with the ability to define briefs, lead reviews, provide structured feedback and ensure output quality;
• the ability to interface with a headquarters or international corporate functions, receiving guidelines, feedback and design constraints;
• autonomy, functional leadership and the ability to influence stakeholders;
• fluent knowledge of Italian (C1);
• good knowledge of English (B2), required for interaction with headquarters.
