Spencer Ogden in Milan is seeking a Data Centre Electrical Solutions Engineer to translate hyperscale customer requirements into robust electrical design strategies and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. You will shape Basis of Design, review MV/LV, UPS, generators, transformers and switchgear, and stay hands‑on in design discussions with clients to influence delivery from concept to handover.

You will work in a hybrid role with three on‑site days in Milan, gaining exposure to major EMEA

Competenze

• 4+ years in electrical engineering within data centres or mission‑critical.
• Strong grasp of critical power infrastructure and resilience.
• Experience on hyperscale or large‑scale DC projects.
• Comfortable in client‑facing, front‑end design discussions.
• Electrical engineering degree (or equivalent).

Mansioni

• Translate hyperscale customer requirements into electrical design strategies.
• Shape Basis of Design (BoD) and early‑stage technical solutions.
• Review and optimise MV/LV, UPS, generators, transformers, switchgear.
• Coordinate with mechanical, controls, CSA and multidisciplinary teams.
• Influence design intent across concept, delivery and handover.
