Aretè & Cocchi Technology seeks a Piping and Layout Engineer to join the ENCAR (Energy Carriers) Division, contributing to FEED or EPC projects in the energy sector.

Open to new graduates or 1–2 years of experience, with a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency in English (B2) and Italian (C1). Hybrid work with abroad travel opportunities is offered.

As Piping and Layout Engineer, you will respond to the Head of Layout and Piping Engineering Department and be part of the ENCAR (Energy Carriers) Division and assigned to FEED or EPC project.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

A young talent to be trained in the layout design of industrial plants, within the oil & gas, petrochemical, renewables, and FPSO sectors with a particular focus on:

• Understanding of engineering workflow in energy sector
• Acknowledge of technology and product of energy sector
• Acknowledge of piping components, material classification and main process constraint
• Developing piping material take off
• Routing critical piping based on process flow diagrams (PFDs), process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and plot plans, while considering factors such as accessibility, maintainability, safety and material costs;
• Drafting of distribution P&ID
• Developing Single Line structural drawing
• Calculating piping material quantities based on process diagrams and layouts;
• Interpreting technical specifications and identifying critical requirements;
• field assistance during construction installation

What are we looking for?

Education: Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: new graduated or 1-2 years of experience

Languages: English (B2), Italian (mother tongue / C1)

Technical/IT Skills:

good knowledge of basic SW tools (Office, Autocad/BricsCad)

ability to explore and enhance in-house or commercial software with AI assisted tool to achieve project needs
