Job summary

Nokia is seeking an Optical Test and Automation Engineer in Lombardy to contribute to the development of coherent pluggable modules for the Optical Networks portfolio. You will own early phase optical testing from design through validation and production deployment, interfacing with Optical, FW, HW engineers and manufacturers across Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• MS in Electronic/Optical/Photonic/SW Engineering.
• Experience with Python, especially in test and automation environments.
• Knowledge of lab instrumentation used in electro-optical testing.
• Fluency in English; willingness to travel across Europe and Far East Asia.

• Requirement analysis and feasibility studies.
• Design and maintenance of automated test routines.
• Documentation ownership for test and automation procedures.
• Samples and unit test/qualification and reporting.
