AECOM Buildings & Places in Milan is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our growing multidisciplinary team. You will be part of the project life cycle, gaining knowledge from early proposals through planning, execution and closure, to support on a variety of geographies.

Qualifications

• University degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a background in architecture, engineering, or construction planning.
• Demonstrated initiative, practical judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with the ability to work with various stakeholders: internal teams, clients, sub-consultants, and vendors.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Familiarity with BIM environments will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support in managing projects of varying complexities, collaborating with international delivery teams.
• Organizing and managing documentation and delivery.
• Client interface: preparing presentations, organizing meetings, defining agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
• Assisting in project performance control and producing project control documentation: risk assessments, schedules, financial control, lists of deliverables, reports, etc.
• Collaborating in quality control processes for deliverables and supporting project quality assurance activities.
• Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and assisting the Design Manager in coordinating the delivery team.
• Managing project subcontractors, including procurement processes.
• Help with business development tasks, including proposal preparation.
