Thales Alenia Space in Rome seeks a Mechanical CAD Designer to advance hardware development in a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver mechanical designs and data packages, supporting production with cost-effective solutions in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires a Master of Engineering or equivalent, strong mechanical engineering experience, and proficiency with major CAD/CAE tools. You will collaborate across functions to meet project goals.

Mansioni

• Analyse mechanical needs across studies, simulations, mock-ups and prototypes.
• Describe mechanical functions, requirements and development plan.
• Elaborate data packages to be transferred to production.
• Work with production and procurement to produce cost-effective mechanical designs.
• Monitor, plan and report on technical progress of mechanical activities.
• Propose and justify technical choices aligned with the mechanical architecture.
