Energy Dome S.p.A. seeks a Project Development Engineer to lead technical development from concept to Final Investment Decision, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring robust, fully permitted projects ready for EPC execution.

The role spans permitting, procurement, and grid-interconnection activities across international projects. The successful candidate will manage technical risk, define CAPEX and schedules, and oversee Owner's Engineering with external consultants, while liaising

Competenze

• Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in project development, engineering management, EPC contracting, or large infrastructure/energy projects.
• Experience with EPC tendering, contractor selection, and HV substations.
• Familiar with permitting, environmental requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management software.
• Willingness to travel; fluent in English and Italian.

Mansioni

• Accountable for technical development from concept through investment approval and EPC award.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, process, grid).
• Perform technical risk assessments and maintain risk registers.
• Define CAPEX, schedules, and technical assumptions for business cases.
• Support permitting activities with engineering inputs and documentation.
• Lead Owner's Engineering and coordinate external consultants.
• Develop EPC contracting strategies and bid packages.
• Manage EPC tendering, prequalifications, evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Lead technical negotiations with EPC contractors with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate grid connection development with utilities, TSOs, DSOs, and regulators.
• Oversee HV substations and interconnection procurement and contractor selection.
• Evaluate contractor proposals for technical compliance, cost, schedule, operability, and risks.
• Ensure alignment of engineering deliverables with permitting and execution plans.
• Provide technical inputs for lenders and investors during financing.
• Prepare technical governance documents for boards and committees.
• Ensure smooth handover of technical deliverables to PM and execution teams.
