Energy Dome, Rome, Italy, seeks a Project Development Manager to mature utility-scale CO2 Battery projects from feasibility to ready‑to‑build. You will manage grid connections, permitting, and coordination with local partners to keep projects on track and de‑risked toward a final investment decision.

Responsibilities include leading development timelines, aligning internal teams with external partners, and communicating with grid operators, authorities, landowners, and co‑developers.

Competenze

• 3‑5 years in energy project development with hands‑on permitting and grid connection experience.
• Strong grid connection know‑how: knowledge of connection processes, studies and negotiations with TSOs/DSOs (Terna and Italian DSOs).
• Proven stakeholder coordination across internal teams and external partners to keep complex projects on schedule.
• Excellent communication across audiences: technical with authorities and clear conversations with landowners.
• Experience working with Italian permitting authorities and public bodies; familiarity with European frameworks is a plus.
• Solid grasp of Italian energy market and regulatory landscape; storage/LDES experience valued.

• Lead project development – from feasibility to ready‑to‑build/FID, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks and interdependencies.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders – align engineering, commercial, finance, legal with developers, consultants, utilities, authorities.
• Communicate across audiences – tailor messages to grid operators, permitting authorities, partners, landowners.
• Lead grid connection applications, studies and negotiations with Terna and DSOs; assess feasibility and timelines.
• Steer projects through the Italian authorisation process and EU frameworks with municipalities and regional bodies.
• Partner with local developers and consultants to integrate pipeline and site work into Energy Dome’s delivery process.
• De‑risk development risks toward a bankable state and support the business case and financial models.
• Support origination by evaluating new opportunities as they arise.
