Chiesi in Nerviano, Milan, seeks a Training & Competence Specialist to design, implement and continuously improve the Site HSE Training Program. You will ensure appropriate Seveso‑related training, update procedures, and manage the HSE documentation across the site.

The role reports to the Head of HSE and requires strong Italian/English communication, cross‑functional collaboration, and ability to drive continuous improvement in HSE processes and training systems.

Competenze

• Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Safety or related scientific discipline.
• Experience in HSE management within pharma/chemical/manufacturing.
• Experience in developing and managing training programs.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
• Knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO14001 management systems.
• Familiarity with electronic document management systems (e.g. Veeva).
• Good knowledge of Italian HSE legislation.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain the Site HSE Training Matrix.
• Define HSE competency requirements for all site roles.
• Coordinate mandatory HSE training programs in compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
• Manage contractor HSE induction and qualification processes.
• Support onboarding activities for new employees and external personnel.
• Coordinate emergency response training and drills.
• Promote HSE awareness campaigns and behavioural safety initiatives.
• Manage the HSE Learning Management System and training records.
• Monitor training completion, compliance and effectiveness through KPIs.
• Coordinate periodic refresher training and digital training solutions.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Site HSE Management System.
• Draft, review and update HSE procedures, standards and work instructions.
• Coordinate document lifecycle management (e.g. Veeva).
• Ensure HSE documentation complies with standards and legislation.
• Promote standardization of HSE processes.
• Support implementation of digital workflows and approvals.
