ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions is seeking a Project HSE Manager in Mantova to lead safety, health and environmental excellence on major construction projects. The role requires driving HSE across multi-contractor environments and ensuring compliance with local legislation and internal standards.

You will develop the Project HSE Management Plan, monitor performance, coach site teams, and coordinate with local authorities, regulators and management to deliver continuous safety improvements on site.

Competenze

Taking ownership of HSE and drove change through personal leadership.
Experience in leading HSE in a multi-contractor environment.
Experience in senior HSE role on major construction site.
University/engineering degree.
Fluency in Italian and English.

Mansioni

Ensure compliance with local HSE legislation and internal HSE standards and principles by ensuring HSE is integrated into project planning, operational reviews, design-for-construction, and contractor management.
Develop the site HSE Management Plan and communicate to project management and contractors. Ensure the plan includes effective risk management procedures for worker orientation & training, risk assessment, method statements, lifting plans, permit to work, emergency planning, etc.
Ensure the site is under control with secure access, safe access and egress routes, correct signage and with relevant risks effectively managed. Ensure high standards of health & hygiene conditions for workers, with appropriate emergency medical response.
Ensure implementation of site risk management procedures. Ensure that specific safe working practices are in place with a focus on high frequency risks (eg slips, trips, falls, injuries from sharp points and edges) and high hazard tasks (eg work at height, critical lifting, hot work).
Ensure training and coaching is provided to managers and team leaders to develop their knowledge of risk management, legislation and duties. Provide personal coaching and support to the Site Management Team.
Ensure managers receive trusted guidance & support on HSE matters.
Identify and leverage expertise and good practices from inside and outside company. Coordinate internal & external resources to deliver high quality and efficient SHE supports, e.g. exposure monitoring, health promotion, health surveillance, training.
Ensure compliance is regularly audited and performance assessed, and the results used to drive further improvement. Promote effective communication of successes and learnings, and recognition for strong performers and contributors.
Engage with stakeholders (e.g. contractor representatives, trades unions, local regulators, local communities, and local NGOs) on HSE topics to build positive relationships.
