Alfa Laval in Italy seeks an HR Generalist to manage recruitment across Italy, onboarding blue-collar and contingent workers, and to advise managers on labor relations. The role coordinates with the local HR Business Partner and supports the full employee lifecycle.

You will drive HR process improvements, collaborate cross-country, and partner with Talent Acquisition on employer branding. Fluency in Italian and English is essential.

Competenze

• Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 4-5 years as HR generalist or HR admin, preferably in manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of Italian labor law and CCNL (Metalmeccanico).
• Experience with recruitment and onboarding of blue-collar and contingent staff.
• Experience with staffing agencies and contingent workforce planning.
• Structured, process-oriented, and data-savvy with HR systems.
• Fluent Italian and good English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient with Office tools and data management.

In This Role You Will

• Manage the recruitment and onboarding process across Italy for blue-collar employees, contingent workers, consultants and temporary staff, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Manage the relationship with temporary work agencies, from sourcing and contracting to service quality follow-up and cost control.
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and supervisors on labor relations and basic legal aspects, in coordination with the local HR Business Partner and the shared service center.
• Manage HR administration and the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
• Deliver compliant, efficient and business-focused HR support daily.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, identifying opportunities to simplify workflows, increase efficiency and optimize costs.
• Prioritize and collaborate with HR teams across countries to share best practices, harmonize processes and leverage synergies to improve service delivery.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to implement Employer Branding initiatives aligned with business needs.
• Support managers in anticipating staffing needs, coordinating recruitment and contingent workforce planning accordingly.

The role is based in Suisio/San Bonifacio, with frequent travel to our other Italian locations.

What You Know

• A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR administration role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Good working knowledge of Italian labor law and national collective agreements (CCNL, ideally Metalmeccanico).
• Hands-on experience in recruitment and onboarding, including blue-collar and contingent workforce populations.
• Practical experience of working with temporary work agencies and managing contingent staffing needs.
• A service-minded and approachable style, you are a reliable first point of contact for managers and employees on day-to-day HR matters.
• A structured, process-oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in simplification and digitalization.
• Comfort working with HR systems and data (HRIS, ATS, Excel)
• Fluent Italian and good English, both written and spoken.
• Extensive experience and proficiency with the Office suite
• Strong integrity, discretion and people orientation.

We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The starting base salary for this role is 32.000€, CCNL METALWORKING.
