Aaron King International in Ferrara, Italy, is seeking an experienced HR Administration & Payroll Manager to own the main people administration, payroll and workforce cost processes.

Reporting to the HR Director and coordinating a small team, you will handle payroll data, labour compliance and HR reporting across the employee lifecycle.

The role blends operational ownership with an analytical mindset and supports HRIS digitalisation to drive efficiency in an international environment.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience in HR Administration, Payroll or HR Operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and labour-related topics.
• Experience in budgeting, cost analysis and HR reporting.
• Fluency in Italian and English; strong Excel skills.

Mansioni

• Take ownership of personnel administration throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Coordinate the monthly payroll process with external payroll partner, validating data and deadlines.
• Manage time & attendance processes, including hours, absences, holidays and overtime.
• Act as internal reference point for employees and managers on payroll, contracts and HR administration.
• Ensure employment documentation and HR practices align with Italian labour legislation and collective agreements.
• Develop and maintain HR reporting and people analytics (headcount, absenteeism, overtime, leave balances, KPIs).
• Contribute to annual personnel cost budget and monitor workforce costs throughout the year.
• Support salary reviews, incentive and variable compensation cycles with HR leadership and stakeholders.
• Contribute to HR operations digitalisation, supporting HRIS, payroll and workforce management tools.
• Provide reliable people-related data and analysis to support management decisions.
