EDITION Hotels (Marriott International) is seeking a skilled hotel maintenance engineer in Rome, responsible for responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and inspecting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure safety and functionality.

The role requires at least 2 years in hotel engineering/maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and HVAC/refrigeration certification.

Competenze

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• HVAC/refrigeration two-year diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience.

Mansioni

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and systems.
• Inspect and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC equipment and building components.
• Identify shut-off valves and manage safe operation of systems.
• Train/mentor junior engineers and supervise work in the absence of supervision.
