Job summary

Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. in Genoa is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Grid Automation R&D team. The role focuses on verification and validation of PCS products and automation features for PV, BESS, and hybrid systems.

Working in a global environment, you will perform HiL V&V, contribute to V&V planning with senior management, and collaborate with Product Management, external consultants, and customers. Travel up to 10-20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Power Electronics and Control.
• PhD is preferred for the role.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in control techniques for Power Conversion Systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform HiL V&V for PCS portfolio and automation features.
• Define and implement system V&V planning with R&D management.
• Collaborate with Product Management, external consultants, and internal customers globally.
