Job summary

Progress Rail in Liguria, Italy seeks an experienced heavy equipment operator to run wheel loaders and other machines, handle railcar processing, and assist with material staging and loading. You will also perform routine maintenance, inspections, and accurate record-keeping on a daily basis.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of hands-on experience or hold a Heavy Equipment Certification, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience or Heavy Equipment Certification.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial setting.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loader and/or tracked heavy equipment to move and process railcars and scrap materials.
• Operate skid steer or forklift to stage and palletize small parts.
• Load and unload materials for transport and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Complete daily inspections and record keeping of equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers and ensure safety standards.
