Job summary

Modine is seeking a Sales Engineering Support professional for its Heatcraft Coils division. You will bridge Sales, R&D, Operations, and customers, leading thermal simulations, product selection, feasibility studies, and cost calculations.

You will also draft drawings and BOMs to ensure alignment with manufacturing capabilities. Required are a mechanical/engineering degree or equivalent, 5 years in related technical sales roles, strong thermodynamics knowledge, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technical Diploma with equivalent consolidated work experience.
• 5 years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Application Engineering, or technical support in heat exchanger/HVAC/R or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.
• Ability to read and interpret industrial technical drawings.
• Knowledge of CAD drafting tools (2D/3D) for customer layout analysis is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad (EMEA) to meet customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead on engineering customer requests from thermal simulation to cost calculation.
• Prepare detailed, competitive technical-commercial proposals and manage RFQs.
• Assess manufacturing feasibility and liaise with production to resolve design issues.
• Support drafting team in modifying/developing drawings and BOMs.
• Manage daily communications with international customers on technical clarifications, pricing, and changes.
