Iro&Partners seeks a Head of Production for an international machine tool group in Northern Italy (Pordenone). The role leads manufacturing operations, drives production planning, and ensures on-time delivery of high-precision tools while meeting cost, safety and quality targets.

You will manage Mechanical and Electrical Assembly, Testing, and Logistics, develop cost-saving initiatives, mentor a team of production managers, and collaborate with HR and engineering to sustain operational

Competenze

• Technical education or university degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Several years of leadership experience in industrial production, ideally within machine tools.
• Strong background in production planning, shopfloor management and operational excellence.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and process optimization.
• Proven leadership skills and a structured, hands-on approach.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP is an advantage.
• Good command of English; Italian and/or German are an advantage.

• Develop and execute the production plan in line with business priorities and customer commitments.
• Monitor production progress and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Lead all production departments and optimize production flow.
• Manage the production budget and monitor labor productivity and manufacturing costs.
